Line the splash pan with foil to contain the pumice during the polishing procedure and simplify the cleanup.

A quick chuck, such as a Well's Quick Chuck or a Handler Chuck/Changer is the preferred method for attaching the male end of the mandrel to the lathe. Note that the quick chuck must accommodate 1/4" shafts.

Partial dentures and orthodontic appliances can be polished with the Pure Buff. Unlike the traditional rag wheels, wire clasps do not snag on the Pure Buff wheels.
